Reconstruction History of the Chapel Entrance

The front of the Chapel is covered to prepare for renovation of the doors.

The Chapel view once the renovation is completed December 2004.

The old doors have been removed.

The renovation reveals very rotted main timbers along the front
of the Chapel - new timbers will be used to strengthen the foundation
for the new door way.

Underneath the Chapel new supporting beams are installed.

The clutter of construction inside the Chapel

Four laminated 2" x 24" x 25' beams will be bolted together to span the
newly created 25' space across the front of the Chapel. This is the first
beam half way up to its final destination.

Benches, built and donated to the city by the Chapel  during the summer,
grace the Wildwood boardwalk. They are rarely used during the
long winter months.
